Neuerlicher Affront von Donald Trump gegen seinen Vorgänger Joe Biden: Anstelle des offiziellen Porträts von Biden ließ Trump in einer Fotogalerie im goldenen Rahmen ein Bild von dessen Signiermaschine platzieren – flankiert von den Porträts seines eigenen Vorgängers und Nachfolgers. Trump hatte Bidens Gesundheitszustand insbesondere gegen Ende von dessen Amtszeit immer wieder öffentlich infrage gestellt. In republikanischen Kreisen wurde zudem spekuliert, Biden habe Begnadigungen womöglich gar nicht mehr eigenhändig unterzeichnet.
