Mexico was shaken after an Interoceanic passenger train derailed in the southern state of Oaxaca, killing at least 13 people and injuring nearly 100 others. The train, carrying 241 passengers and nine crew members, partially left the tracks, causing several coaches to tilt and triggering chaotic scenes. Authorities initially reported fewer injuries before revising the toll upward hours later. Emergency teams evacuated passengers, including children, and rushed the injured to hospitals, with several reported in serious condition.
