Zwei Verletzte und 500.000 Euro Sachschaden bei Brand in Oftersheim - Wohnhaus nicht mehr bewohnbar
Oftersheim/Rhein-Neckar-Kreis: Am frühen Dienstagmorgen, gegen 0:20 Uhr, brach in der Hebelstraße in Oftersheim ein Brand aus. Nach ersten Informationen entstand das Feuer in einem Anbau auf der Gebäuderückseite. Die fünf Bewohner konnten sich rechtzeitig ins Freie retten, zwei von ihnen wurden nach Angaben der Feuerwehr verletzt und zur weiteren Untersuchung in ein Krankenhaus gebracht. Der in Vollbrand stehende Anbau entwickelte eine so starke Hitze, dass Fensterscheiben des Wohnhauses barsten. Das Feuer griff anschließend auf den Dachstuhl über, was einen großangelegten Löscheinsatz erforderlich machte. Um die Flammen unter Kontrolle zu bringen, mussten große Teile des Daches abgedeckt werden.Mehrere Feuerwehren der Region (Oftersheim, Plankstadt, Ketsch, Schwetzingen, Hockenheim, Walldorf) wurden alarmiert. Insgesamt waren 87 Einsatzkräfte der Feuerwehr sowie zusätzlich Rettungsdienst und Polizei im Einsatz. Das Wohnhaus wurde so schwer beschädigt, dass es nicht mehr bewohnbar ist.
