In this video, I discuss MARA, which may be the worst publicly traded Bitcoin mining company in America.
Not only do they run a money-losing operating business, but they are also poor stewards of the Bitcoin network, previously overcomplying with OFAC-compliant blocks, mining competitor chains like Kaspa, and collecting extra fees from putting spam into Bitcoin blocks.
In spite of MARA's very poor stock performance since taking the helm, Fred Thiel continues to take home $35-40 million per year in annual compensation-- probably because he is both CEO and Chairman of the Board.
If you own MARA, you should ask yourself why you own a stock that insiders continue to dump.
