The Disturbing Truth the Army Knew Before the Fort Hood Shooting | Greta Wire | NEWSMAX
- Investigative journalist Pamela Browne revisits Nidal Hasan’s years in the Army, describing disturbing warning signs she says appear in his psychiatric-board presentation well before the 2009 Fort Hood attack.- Browne details Hasan’s communications with radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki and explains why the contacts raise questions about how military and federal authorities assess the threat before the shooting.
- The discussion examines the Obama administration’s initial classification of the Fort Hood attack as workplace violence and the later fight to award Purple Hearts to victims.
- Browne reveals that Hasan sends her a 453-page handwritten document from death row, where he refers to al-Awlaki as “my teacher” and continues outlining his religious and ideological views.
- The conversation also turns to Browne’s investigation of a suspected 9/11 facilitator, raising new questions about intelligence failures, government secrecy and information still missing from the public record.
