Robert F. #Kennedy Jr., Segretario alla Salute, ha accusato il governo tedesco di perseguire penalmente oltre mille medici e numerosi pazienti per aver concesso esenzioni da vaccini Covid-19 e mascherine durante la pandemia. Ha scritto una lettera al Ministro della Salute tedesca Nina Warken, sostenendo che la Germania stia limitando l’autonomia dei pazienti e trasformando i medici in “enforcers” di politiche statali invece che difensori dei pazienti. Secondo Kennedy, questo viola il rapporto sacro tra medico e paziente e richiede un immediato ripristino dell’autonomia medica con la fine delle “persecuzioni politicamente motivate”.
Dal canto suo, il governo tedesco ha respinto fermamente le accuse, definendole “completamente infondate e fattualmente errate”. La ministra Warken ha chiarito che non ci sono mai state sanzioni o procedimenti per medici che rifiutavano di vaccinare per motivi etici o medici, ma solo per casi di frode documentale come certificati falsi. L’ex ministro Karl Lauterbach ha invitato Kennedy a occuparsi dei problemi sanitari USA, come aspettativa di vita bassa e costi elevati.
“Ho appreso che più di mille medici tedeschi e migliaia di loro pazienti ora rischiano procedimenti giudiziari e sanzioni per aver concesso esenzioni dall’uso delle mascherine o dalla vaccinazione contro il COVID-19 durante la pandemia”. Ha enfatizzato che “quando un governo criminalizza i medici per aver dato consigli ai propri pazienti, oltrepassa un limite che le società libere hanno sempre considerato sacro”, basandosi su “report” non specificati, ma evidentemente riferiti e forniti da addetti ai lavori.
La ministra Warken (CDU) ha risposto lo stesso giorno con una nota ufficiale: le accuse sono “completamente infondate, fattualmente errate e devono essere respinte”. Ha precisato che non vi è mai stato obbligo per i medici di vaccinare, né sanzioni per esenzioni etiche o mediche legittime; procedimenti penali riguardano solo frodi come falsi certificati vaccinali o attestati mascherine contraffatti, gestiti da tribunali indipendenti. L’ex ministro Karl Lauterbach (SPD) ha twittato: “Onorevole @SecKennedy dovrebbe occuparsi dei problemi sanitari USA: aspettativa di vita bassa, costi estremi, morti per droga e omicidi”.
