Momen Paus Leo XIV Bertemu Aktivis Palestina Aziz Sarah di Vatikan
JAKARTA, KOMPASTV - Paus Leo XIV bertemu dengan perwakilan gerakan perdamaian di Vatikan, Jumat (30/5/2025).Di antara mereka yang menghadiri audiensi, Paus Leo XIV menyapa aktivis perdamaian Israel Maoz Inon dan aktivis perdamaian Palestina Aziz Sarah.
Paus Leo XIV berbicara kepada hadirin, tentang jalan yang harus ditempuh perdamaian dalam konteks global yang terus berkembang.
"Anak-anak dan kaum muda kita perlu dapat mengalami budaya kehidupan, dialog, dan saling menghormati. Di atas segalanya, mereka membutuhkan kesaksian dari pria dan wanita yang mewujudkan cara hidup yang berbeda dan tanpa kekerasan," kata Paus Leo XIV di Vatikan.
