Superblocks sind ein Straßenblock von etwa 400 mal 400 Meter, in dem der Kfz-Verkehr neu organisiert wird. Durch Poller oder Einbahnstraßen werden Autos an der Durchquerung gehindert und müssen so auf den Hauptverkehrsstraßen bleiben. Was Kritiker als Gängelung der Autofahrer bewerten, empfinden Teile der Anwohner oft als positiv, da sich die Aufenthaltsqualität erhöht. Wir haben uns die Superblocks in Leipzig und Wien angesehen.
