Masalah sampah di Indonesia tidak bisa diselesaikan hanya dengan aksi bersih-bersih saja. Benedict Wermter (Bule Sampah) bersama dengan ASRI (Akademi Sekolah Lestari) berupaya menyelesaikan masalah ini dari akarnya, yakni melalui edukasi dan perubahan pola pikir, dimulai dari generasi muda (murid SMA/SMK sederajat) dan guru.
Dalam acara ASRI Menyapa di SMAN 78 pada 30 April 2025, Benedict memperkenalkan SampApp dan program ASRI sebagai wadah untuk belajar sustainability dan pengelolaan sampah.
