EXTREME CHALLENGE: Extremsportlerin Nathalie Pohl schwimmt von Frankfurt nach Köln! | BILD LIVE
Nathalie Pohl ist Deutschlands krasseste Schwimmerin – und sie will etwas verändern. Bei ihrer neuen Challenge „RIVERS: Frankfurt to Cologne“ schwimmt sie bis Freitag 200 Kilometer durch Main und Rhein. Dabei will die Extremschwimmerin darauf aufmerksam machen, wie wichtig das Schwimmenlernen für Kinder ist. Durch Spenden und lokale Events entlang der Strecke soll gemeinsam mit DVAG hilft e.V. Geld für Schwimmprojekte gesammelt werden.Geschwommen wird von Sonnenaufgang bis Sonnenuntergang. Mehrere Schwimmer werden die Athletin auf ihrem Weg begleiten. Pohl sagte zu BILD: „Die größte Herausforderung für mich ist die Länge der Strecke. Dazu kommen der Schiffsverkehr und die Strömung im Rhein.“ Aktuell ist auch das Niedrigwasser im Rhein eine Herausforderung.
