Bahkan, terungkap fakta bahwa korban pengantin diiming-imingi janji harta warisan dalam jumlah besar.
Bakhrul mengaku sempat terkejut saat melihat nilai mahar yang dituliskan saat pendaftaran senilai Rp 1 miliar dan mobil Toyota Camry.
“Pada waktu daftar pernikahan dan rapak, mahar yang ditulis adalah Toyota Camry dan uang sebesar Rp 1 miliar, itu sudah terbilang fantastis dan sempat membuat saya terkejut,” kata Bakhrul.
Ia semakin terkejut menjelang dua hari sebelum akad nikah, nilai mahar dinaikkan menjadi Rp 3 miliar.
Rupanya, dua hari setelah akad nikah, mulai terungkap bahwa cek senilai Rp 3 miliar palsu.
Sementara itu, Toyota Camry yang digunakan dalam prosesi akad adalah mobil rental.
Mengetahui kabar pernikahannya viral, Mbah Tarman kabur dengan membawa sepeda motor milik keluarga pengantin perempuan.
Hingga berita ini diturunkan, belum diketahui keberadaan Mbah Tarman.
Sebelumnya, dalam akun Tiktok beredar kabar bahwa Mbah Tarman pernah melakukan penipuan serupa di wilayah Wonogiri.
“Iming-imingnya bakal dikasih harta dan warisan yang banyak,” katanya.
Bahkan, Mbah Tarman ini pernah dipenjara dua tahun karena penipuan jual beli pedang samurai senilai Rp 1 miliar.
