Saudi-led coalition in Yemen says STC leader al-Zubaidi has fled before peace talks
The Saudi-led coalition says it carried out “limited pre-emptive strikes” on Yemen.They say they targeted locations used by southern separatist leader Aidarous al-Zubaidi to arm and rally forces.
The focus was a camp in Dhale governorate, that's in southern Yemen.
It comes hours after al-Zubaidi failed to board a plane scheduled to take him to Riyadh, where he was due to take part in talks.
The coalition says the Southern Transitional Council (STC) leader has fled to an unknown location.
