Crans-Montana: Ermittlungen nach Brandkatastrophe in der Schweiz
Sprühfontänen und Wunderkerzen auf Champagnerflaschen haben mutmaßlich den verheerenden Brand in einer Bar im Schweizer Skiort Crans-Montana mit mindestens 40 Toten ausgelöst. Dies sei das Ergebnis erster Ermittlungen, teilte die Generalstaatsanwältin des Kantons Wallis, Beatrice Pilloud, mit. Das Feuer aus den Sprühfontänen sei vermutlich zu nah an die Decke des Lokals gekommen.Bei der Brandkatastrophe waren in der Neujahrsnacht etwa 40 Menschen gestorben, darunter viele junge Leute. 119 Personen wurden nach Angaben der Polizei verletzt, davon seien 113 identifiziert worden.
