Mulanya Megawati menanyakan nama Rossa yang dilaporkan staf Sekjen PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto karena dugaan penyalahgunaan prosedur saat pemeriksaan.
Megawati lantas mempertanyakan sosok Rossa, termasuk menanyakan pangkat penyidik tersebut.
Ia lantas menyinggung soal pembangunan lembaga KPK yang dilakukan semasa dirinya menjabat sebagai presiden.
Lebih lanjut Megawati berkelakar bahwa ada kemungkinan dirinya jadi target selanjutnya.
Meski begitu Presiden ke-lima RI ini mengaku tak takut karena ia akan mengerahkan seluruh ahli hukum.
Megawati pun menantang Rossa untuk bertemu dengannya.
Terlebih salah satu barang yang disita dari tangan Hasto adalah buku agenda kepartaian.
Sebelumnya Megawati telah mengatakan pada Hasto agar berani menghadapi aparat penegak hukum.
Ia lantas menyinggung pemanggilan dirinya di masa Orde Baru sebanyak tiga kali oleh polisi dan kejaksaan.
Terkait dengan pemanggilan Hasto oleh KPK ini berbuntut panjang karena stafnya, Kusnadi melaporkan AKBP Rossa ke Dewan Pengawas KPK dan Bareskrim Polri.
