Die Deutschen verbringen immer mehr Zeit am Smartphone: 2025 sind es im Schnitt 155 Minuten pro Bürger, 16- bis 29-Jährige kommen sogar auf 212 Minuten am Tag. Was macht das mit unserer Gesellschaft?

Bei den jungen Erwachsenen bis 29 Jahre entfällt ein Großteil der Zeit am Smartphone auf die sozialen Netzwerke. Insgesamt nimmt die Zeit am Smartphone in allen Altersgruppen zu, auch bei den über 64-Jährigen. Dort ist die Bildschirmzeit von 80 Minuten im Jahr 2023 auf mittlerweile 103 Minuten pro Tag gestiegen.

Was macht das mit uns allen? Wie können Smartphones im Alltag verantwortungsvoll und mit Mehrwert genutzt werden? Brauchen wir ein Verbot von Social Media für gewisse Altersgruppen, wie es manche Politiker fordern? Oder sind Verbote der falsche Weg?
