Dikutip dari Al Mayadeen, kabar itu dikonfirmasi oleh juru bicara militer Houthi, Brigjen Yahya Saree, Rabu (2/7) pagi.
Militer Israel mengakui peluncuran rudal dari arah Yaman terhadap sistem pertahanan mereka.
Dilaporkan serangan itu menggunakan puluhan rudal hipersonik Palestine-2.
Rudal tersebut berhasil mencapai sasarannya dan menghentikan aktivitas di sekitar Bandara.
Dikabarkan jutaan warga Israel ketakutan dan melarikan diri ke tempat perlindungan akibat serangan dari Houthi.
Selain rudal, tiga drone diluncurkan ke lokasi sensitif di pusat kota Yafa dan Askalan.
Ketiga drone tersebut diklaim menyerang fasilitas militer penting milik Pasukan Zionis.
Angkatan Bersenjata Yaman menyatakan serangan itu sebagai bentuk dukungan terhadap rakyat Palestina di Gaza.
Operasi ini disebut sebagai balasan atas tindakan genosida yang dilakukan Israel di Gaza, Palestina.
