Anies mengatakan akan membawa tema "Mengembalikan" dalam kontestasi Pilgub Jakarta 2024.
Menurutya, hal itu yang saat ini dibutuhkan bagi warga Jakarta.
"Tampaknya banyak kebutuhan untuk mengembalikan yang hilang, mengembalikan yang hilang, mengembalikan yang kuran, mengembalikan yang dipotong. Kita ingin Jakarta warganya merasakan kemajuan dan bisa bahagia," ujar Anies di Jakarta, Jumat (21/6/2024).
Sebelumnya, Anies telah mendapatkan dukungan untuk maju memperebutkan kursi Jakarta 1 dari PKS, PKB dan NasDem wilayah Jakarta.
Namun, sampai saat ini dirinya belum mendapat rekomendasi dukungan dari tingkat pusat dari keempat partai tersebut.
