Der Mindestlohn in Deutschland steigt erneut – auf 13,90 Euro ab 2026 und 14,60 Euro ab 2027. Was das für Beschäftigte, Unternehmen und den Staat bedeutet und wer der größte Profiteur ist… „Für Arbeitnehmer bedeutet das mehr Geld im Portemonnaie – für viele sicherlich wichtig. Es trifft vor allem ja die unteren Einkommensschichten. Für Arbeitgeber steigen die Lohnkosten. Das kann in Branchen wie Dienstleistung und Einzelhandel eine echte Herausforderung sein", sagt Manuel Koch. Der Chefredakteur von Inside Wirtschaft weiter: „Der Staat spart massiv an Sozialausgaben, insbesondere beim Bürgergeld, weil viele Leute da rauskämen. Gleichzeitig steigen die Einnahmen durch Steuern und Sozialausgaben. Insgesamt ergibt sich dadurch für den Staat ein Plus von mehreren Milliarden Euro. Davon würden fünf bis sechs Millionen Menschen in Deutschland profitieren."
