Hace unos días, USA Today reveló que durante las recientes conversaciones entre funcionarios del Departamento de Estado y el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Cuba, Washington habría fijado un plazo de dos semanas para la excarcelación de presos considerados de alto nivel.

Ese plazo está a punto de vencerse… y la respuesta desde La Habana ya es clara: el embajador cubano ante la ONU ha dicho que no lo van a cumplir.

A partir de aquí surgen varias preguntas inevitables:
¿qué pasa ahora?
¿hasta dónde está dispuesto a llegar Estados Unidos?
¿y tiene realmente el castrismo capacidad para marcar los tiempos y los temas de la agenda bilateral?
