BERLIN: Brutaler Überfall auf Kinder! Debatte über Jugendgewalt und Strafmündigkeit neu entfacht

Ein schockierender Fall erschüttert Berlin: Auf einem Spielplatz in Pankow wurden zwei 13-jährige Kinder brutal von einer Jugendgruppe zusammengeschlagen und ausgeraubt. Ein elfjähriger Freund konnte fliehen und Hilfe holen. Die Opfer erlitten unter anderem Gesichtsfrakturen und einen Handbruch. Nach den Tätern wird gefahndet. Im Gespräch mit WELT betont Polizeisprecher Benjamin Jendro: Jugendgewalt nimmt spürbar zu – teils mit brutaler Härte. Er fordert eine offene Debatte über das Strafmündigkeitsalter und betont zugleich die soziale Dimension: Armut und Perspektivlosigkeit seien zentrale Faktoren bei Jugendkriminalität.
