Pesawat Amole Air Terbakar Usai Gagal Mendarat dan Tabrak Portal Bandara di Ilaga | SAPA MALAM
PAPUA, KOMPAS.TV - Sebuah pesawat tergelincir dan terbakar di Bandara Aminggaru Ilaga, Puncak, Papua Tengah. Akibat insiden ini, aktivitas penerbangan di Bandara Aminggaru Ilaga ditutup.Pesawat Amole Air dengan nomor registrasi PK-PPI ini mengalami kecelakaan di Bandara Aminggaru Ilaga, Distrik Omukia, Kabupaten Puncak.
Pesawat Caravan ini terbang dari Timika menuju Ilaga dengan membawa muatan kargo.
Namun, saat hendak mendarat, tiba-tiba hilang kendali sehingga kemudian menabrak pos portal Kopasgat Bandara Aminggaru Ilaga dan terbakar.
Puluhan petugas, baik dari Satgas Kopasgat, KP3 Udara, maupun petugas bandara, berhasil memadamkan api.
Selain di Ilaga, kecelakaan pesawat juga terjadi di Bandara Mozes Kilangin, Timika.
Pesawat jenis PAC 750 XT tergelincir di ujung landasan Bandara Mozes Kilangin. Pesawat rute Kabupaten Puncak ke Timika ini diduga mengalami kegagalan mesin saat akan mendarat. Tidak ada korban jiwa dalam insiden ini.
Pesawat bisa segera dievakuasi sehingga tidak mengganggu aktivitas penerbangan di Bandara Mozes Kilangin.
