Demo ini digelar imbas dari sejumlah kebijakan yang dirasa sangat 'mencekik' para sopir.,
Satu dari sekian kebijakan yang dirasa memberatkan, adalah besarnya potongan dari aplikator.
Salah seorang peserta aksi, Warsidin, mengatakan potongan itu berkisar di 20 hingga 30 persen.
Oleh sebab itu, ia dan massa aksi menuntut agar besaran potongan maksimal di angka 10 persen.
Dampak dari sejumlah kebijakan ini pun tak main-main. Penghasilan yang semakin berkurang meski sudah bekerja sangat keras, membuat para sopir tak mampu memenuhi kebutuhan rumah tangga keluarganya.
Imbasnya, keutuhan rumah tangga sejumlah ojek online ini pun mengalami keretakan, hingga beberapa di antaranya mengalami keruntuhan.
