Gibran membawa camilan dan dibagikan kepada para siswa.
Selain itu Gibran juga menyadari anak-anak rindu orang tuanya, sehingga ia mengizinkan beberapa di antaranya video call.
"Kangen-kangen orang tuanya tuh pasti pada pas ini, sebelum jam tidur. Makanya saya ke sini bawa camilan, terus tadi beberapa anak saya izinkan untuk video call orang tuanya soalnya di sini HP-nya diamankan," kata Gibran dikutip dari tayangan Youtube Wakil Presiden Republik Indonesia.
Gibran juga turut menuampaikan terima kasih atas kerja sama orang tua terkait sekolah rakyat ini.
"Yang pasti tadi pesan dari orang tua masing-masing ya, tadi harus betah menurut guru-gurunya di sini, menurut pembimbingnya di sini dan saya terima kasih kepada semua orang tua murid. Kami pemerintah dipercayakan untuk menjalankan program baru kami, program baru dari Pak Presiden yaitu sekolah rakyat," kata Gibran.
"Ini anak-anaknya akan kami bimbing dan insya Allah nanti menjadi anak-anak yang berprestasi, yang membanggakan," lanjutnya.
