Kapal tersebut terbakar hingga membuat penumpang panik ketakutan.
Tak sedikit penumpang memakai jaket pelampung dan melompat ke laut untuk menyelamatkan diri dari kebakaran kapal tersebut.
Dalam sejumlah video korban, terdengar teriakan minta tolong bersahutan.
Kantor Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan Kelas III Manado bergerak cepat menyelamatkan KM Barcelona tersebut.
