È stato usato anche trasversalmente: è l'idea che la politica sia fatto tecnico invece che il luogo in cui si esercita sempre e comunque una scelta. Siccome, invece, cari colleghi e care colleghe, la politica è esattamente questo, è il terreno della scelta, dell'opzione alternativa tra visioni del mondo e idee di società, quest'Aula, come questo Governo, avrebbero tutti gli strumenti ed ogni facoltà per cambiare le scelte e invertire l'ordine delle priorità. Sono stati citati diversi esempi: le armi, perfetto, il 5 per cento del PIL, siamo fuori dalla grazia del Signore; lo spreco gigantesco dei centri in Albania; il ponte sullo Stretto, potremmo aggiungere. Ma, badate: non è soltanto una questione di poste di bilancio, è una questione di politiche fiscali. Vivaddio, potremmo tassare gli enormi extraprofitti delle industrie energetiche, dell'industria militare, dell'industria farmaceutica (Applausi dei deputati del gruppo Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra)!
