A US investigation into the deadly strike on Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School in Iran’s Minab could remain under wraps until after the November midterm elections, according to Bloomberg. The February 28 attack killed more than 150 people, including 123 children. Investigators reportedly found that flawed intelligence, outdated imagery and over-reliance on artificial intelligence contributed to the strike. The delay has drawn criticism from Democratic lawmakers, with more than 70 pressing Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth over civilian casualties in Iran.
