Police arrest husband of US woman who vanished from boat in Bahamas
Police in the Bahamas said Wednesday they have arrested the husband of Lynette Hooker, a U.S. woman who was aboard a boat near the archipelago and vanished. Officials say the 55-year-old was traveling in a motorboat on Saturday night. Her husband, Brian Hooker, had told authorities she fell overboard with the boat keys, causing the engine to turn off. He then paddled to shore and alerted someone about her disappearance on Sunday.The Coast Guard has also opened a criminal investigation.
