Rugby Lugano nasce nel Luglio del 2007 con lo scopo di ampliare la visibilità di questa disciplina non solo nel canton Ticino ma anche a livello nazionale.
Oggi il club conta con piu di 70 giocatori attivi solo nel settore giovanile con l'obiettivo di espandere il gruppo, di fatto, l’obiettivo comune dello staff tecnico è quello di fare in modo che i ragazzi si innamorino del rugby.
Amore per le sue peculiarità, il fatto che sia uno sport che attira non per promesse economiche ma per la propria cultura, diversa da qualunque altro modello sportivo.
