Join me on board a Lufthansa Airbus A380 flying from Munich to New York (JFK), in Premium Economy, on a beautiful spring day. This trip report covers the full journey, from planespotting at Munich Airport to an unforgettable arrival over Long Island.We flew on Lufthansa’s A380 Premium Economy, seated right in front of the engines. The views were spectacular. After takeoff, we crossed Germany, Belgium, the English Channel, and passed near Glasgow before starting a stunning transatlantic crossing. The highlight? Flying over Greenland with jaw-dropping views. Possibly the best footage ever on the channel!
Once over Newfoundland, Canada, we continued along the east coast, passed over Boston, and made a smooth landing in New York JFK.
Onboard service? Lufthansa has seriously stepped up. Great meals, solid Premium Economy experience, and overall, a flight to remember.
