This is a compilation I've wanted to revisit ever since all the Everdark bosses released. I didn't get around to it at the time, and then the DLC was announced so I figured it was worth waiting for that. There's currently no Everdark Heolstor or Everdark Dreglord either, and I'm unsure if there will ever be. Heolstor has had the icon datamined for months with no release yet, and Dreglord I don't think anything has been found to suggest it exists. So while they may come in the future, for now this seems to be all.

Nightreign was also probably my favourite game for all of 2025. At first I wasn't sure on it, especially considering it was more co-op focused and I normally steer clear of that in any soulslike game. I also didn't post a huge amount of videos on it either. But it's the game I always found myself going back to play simply for fun, especially with random trios, and I've sunk a lot of hours into it.

As for the video and bosses themselves, I stuck with fist weapons for nearly every boss other than Libra (as you need a madness weapon to stunlock the boss to avoid the "damage" that happens from his mechanic in phase 2). I wanted to use the fist weapon as it meant I had to be close enough to the bosses and deal with the sometimes awkward hit boxes, and because they're also very good to use.

My favourite fights are Everdark Adel, Heolstor, Everdark Fulghor, and Dreglord (when it's the 1v1 at least, not so much with all the extra spawns). Least favourite fights were unsurprisingly both versions of Gnoster and Balancers. While those fights work well for trios, in solo and no damage they're just incredibly annoying to deal with. Gnoster and Balancers have so many overlapping attacks from the multiple enemies being aggro the whole time, that it just feels unreliable for no damage. I also just decided to parry Balancers as it avoids a lot of the awkwardness of the fight, I normally like to rely on dodge only but you just spend the entire time kiting the bosses around and hoping for openings where one doesn't teleport behind you during an attack.

Lastly, this was done using the "Free Reign" and "Nightreign Boss Arena" mods, which allow you to start a boss fight from roundtable hold. This obviously makes it much easier to deal with, as you don't need to do the full expedition for an attempt each time. As such, these fights may not be considered "legit" to some, as it doesn't have the entire 40 minute expedition before it, and that's completely fine if you feel that way. Nightreign videos haven't performed too well on my channel (despite me really enjoying it), so I can't justify the extra time needed to do the full expeditions for a single attempt.

Regardless, I still wanted to keep up with all Fromsoft souls games with no damage, which this allowed me to do so. And the other upside is that it also allowed me manage a more consistent experience with all of the bosses, as depending on what buffs you get it can completely trivialise them.
