Und gleich zum Auftakt lagen Freud und Leid ganz dicht beieinander. Denn von allen 15 Beiträgen im ersten Halbfinale kamen am Ende nur zehn weiter.
Auftakt zum Eurovision Song Contest in Wien: Beim ersten Halbfinale herrscht ausgelassene Stimmung. Fans aus aller Welt feiern Musik, Vielfalt und Gemeinschaft. Sängerin Sarah Engels steht für Deutschland auf der Bühne und bekommt starken Applaus. Vor Ort berichten Besucher von Favoriten wie Finnland, Malta, Australien und Österreich. Die Energie ist spürbar: Lebensfreude, Freiheit und Liebe prägen den Abend.
