Una tragedia ha scosso il comune di Paupisi, in provincia di Benevento. Salvatore Ocone, operaio di 58 anni, ha ucciso la moglie, Elisa Polcino, colpendola ripetutamente con una pietra. La donna, di 49 anni, è morta sul colpo. L’uomo è poi fuggito insieme ai due figli minorenni, una ragazza di 16 anni e un ragazzo di 15, e successivamente è stato fermato a Campobasso: lui è stato condotto in caserma, mentre i ragazzi sono stati ricoverati in ospedale.Dopo l’omicidio, sul luogo della tragedia sono intervenuti i militari della stazione locale e del comando provinciale per i rilievi e le prime indagini. L’episodio ha profondamente colpito la piccola comunità sannita, che conta poco più di mille abitanti.
