Maussan revela un descubrimiento que, según afirma, podría reescribir la historia de la humanidad: la misteriosa esfera de Buga fue analizada por el Centro de Estudios Isotópicos Aplicados de la Universidad de Georgia, uno de los laboratorios más avanzados del mundo.Los resultados del análisis de Carbono 14 indican que la resina dentro de la esfera tiene 12.560 años de antigüedad, coincidiendo con el final de la última gran glaciación, cuando desapareció la megafauna y culturas como la de los Clovis.
El programa destaca que la datación tiene un margen de error del 0,1%. La esfera contiene material orgánico y microorganismos marinos atrapados, lo que confirmaría su edad, sería auténtica y extremadamente sofisticada, con tecnología “que debemos intentar comprender”.
