KEIR STARMER TRITT ZURÜCK: Britischer Premier zieht Konsequenzen nach massivem DruckDer britische Premierminister Keir Starmer hat nach wachsendem Druck aus der eigenen Partei seinen Rücktritt angekündigt. Nach internen Konflikten, mehreren Rücktritten aus der Regierung und schlechten Wahlergebnissen zieht der Labour-Politiker die Konsequenzen. Bis zur Ernennung eines Nachfolgers bleibt Starmer im Amt. Als möglicher Nachfolger gilt Andy Burnham, der zuletzt seinen Führungsanspruch deutlich gemacht hatte. In einer emotionalen Rede dankte Starmer seiner Familie und kündigte an, sich künftig stärker seinem Privatleben zu widmen.
