Passada a época das SUVs em ascensão, quem está agora ditando as regras são as picapes.Fábrica que nunca teve picape, que já mudou de ideia e uma delas é a Caoa, que apresentou a sua Himla no Salão do Automóvel de São Paulo junto com duas novidades de SUVs, o Tiggo 5X e o Tiggo 9, o mais chique da linha Tiggo.
A picape Himla da Chery é do tipo raiz, não com monobloco como os automóveis, mas com chassi de longarinas como jipe. O motor é um 2.3 turbodiesel, quatro cilindros com 163 cavalos, câmbio automático de oito marchas e a transmissão naturalmente 4x4, ainda sem data marcada para chegar, mas provavelmente no próximo ano ela está por aí.
