El proyecto de forestación en las montañas al norte y al sur de Lhasa, la primera iniciativa de plantación de árboles a gran escala en la historia de Xizang, ha transformado, desde su lanzamiento en 2021, colinas antes áridas en una próspera barrera verde.Dawa Yangzhen, una de las primeras participantes del proyecto, lidera su equipo en la mayor base de cultivo de plantones nativos de Xizang, donde se dedican a cultivar especies arbóreas autóctonas.
