Wahana pendaratan bulan Blue Ghost milik Firefly dijadwalkan mendarat di dekat Mare Crisium, di sisi dekat Bulan, paling cepat pukul 3:45 pagi EST / 15:45 WIB pada hari Minggu, 2 Maret. Siaran Langsung yang diselenggarakan bersama oleh NASA dan Firefly, dimulai pukul 2:30 pagi EST / 14:30 WIB .
Misi Blue Ghost 1 merupakan bagian dari inisiatif Layanan Muatan Bulan Komersial (CLPS) NASA, yang mengirimkan sains dan teknologi ke permukaan bulan sebagai persiapan untuk kampanye Artemis NASA, yang akan membangun kehadiran jangka panjang di Bulan. Blue Ghost mengirimkan 10 eksperimen dan demonstrasi untuk memberikan wawasan tentang lingkungan Bulan dan mendukung astronot masa depan di Bulan dan Mars.
