JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Roy Suryo bersama rekan-rekannya meminta penundaan pemeriksaan terkait kasus tudingan ijazah palsu Presiden ke-7 RI, Joko Widodo, di Polda Metro Jaya. Kuasa hukum Roy Suryo menyebut kliennya berhalangan hadir karena agenda pribadi.Roy Suryo Cs sedianya dipanggil sebagai saksi terlapor dalam kasus ijazah Jokowi pada Selasa (12/08/2025) pagi. Namun, kuasa hukum meminta penjadwalan ulang pemeriksaan karena bertepatan dengan agenda peringatan HUT Kemerdekaan RI.
Kasus tudingan ijazah palsu yang ditangani Polda Metro Jaya sudah naik ke tahap penyidikan dengan terlapor Roy Suryo Cs, namun belum ada penetapan tersangka.
