Dopo l’apertura del ponte Nencioni, il traffico è diventato un problema quotidiano per i residenti di via Lapo da Castiglionchio e via Villamagna, nel quartiere di Gavinana (Firenze sud). Code, smog, clacson e difficoltà a uscire dai passi carrabili hanno spinto gli abitanti a esporre striscioni di protesta alle finestre e a costituire un comitato per chiedere interventi al Comune. «Non si vive più», «Qui si muore di traffico», si legge sui lenzuoli appesi ai balconi. La situazione è particolarmente critica nelle ore di punta, tra le 7 e le 9 del mattino e dopo le 17. Via Lapo da Castiglionchio, un tempo poco più di una strada di campagna, è diventata uno degli accessi principali al ponte e al quartiere.
