Dalam peristiwa yang terjadi di Jalan Zainul Arifin Kelurahan Timur Indah Kota Bengkulu, Minggu (20/7/2025 ) dini hari tersebut, 7 diantaranya merupakan pelajar SMP dan SMA.
Kasat Reskrim Polresta Bengkulu Kompol Sujud Alif Yulam Lam menjelaskan, penangkapan terhadap 13 orang ini dilakukan setelah proses penyelidikan intensif oleh aparat kepolisian.
"Kami telah mengamankan 13 orang sejak semalam hingga pagi tadi. Status mereka masih dalam proses pemeriksaan," ungkap Sujud, Senin (21/7/2025).
Atas kasus ini Polresta Bengkulu masih menggali lebih dalam mengenai keterlibatan mereka dalam geng motor dan kemungkinan adanya jaringan kekerasan yang lebih luas.
Pihak kepolisian juga masih mendalami latar belakang kelompok ini dan hubungan mereka dengan geng motor lainnya di Bengkulu
