AS Jatuhkan Sanksi Baru ke Jaringan Minyak Iran demi Tekan Pengembangan Nuklir dan Rudal Balistik

Sanksi ini diumumkan oleh Departemen Keuangan AS, Senin (24/2/2025), melalui situs resminya.
Langkah ini merupakan bagian dari kebijakan tekanan ekonomi maksimum yang dimulai sejak era Presiden Donald Trump.
Trump sebelumnya menarik AS dari kesepakatan nuklir Iran lantaran dianggap “cacat.”
Sebagai respons, Iran mempercepat pengayaan uranium hingga kemurnian 60 persen untuk kebutuhan damai.
Namun, AS menuding pendapatan minyak Iran digunakan untuk pengembangan senjata nuklir dan rudal balistik.
Sementara itu, Kantor Pengawasan Aset Luar Negeri (OFAC) mencatat minyak Iran dijual ke Tiongkok senilai ratusan juta dolar.
Diketahui jaringan ekspor ini melibatkan entitas dan individu di Tiongkok, India, dan Uni Emirat Arab.
Beberapa kapal pengangkut minyak juga turut dijatuhi sanksi dalam kebijakan tersebut.
Lantas, AS berharap sanksi ini dapat memutus jalur pendanaan Iran untuk aktivitas militernya di kawasan Timur Tengah.
