Mereka berangkat dari Tunisia pada Senin (9/6/2025) pagi waktu setempat dengan menaiki 300 kendaraan.
Dikutip dari Jerusalem Post, ribuan aktivis tersebut tak hanya berasal dari Tunisia, namun juga Maroko, Libya, Mauritania, hingga Aljazair.
Selain itu, ada juga dokter, pengacara, hingga mahasiswa yang turut bergabung dalam konvoi.
Mereka berangkat menuju Rafah untuk membuka koridor kemanusiaan dengan membawa makanan serta bantuan kemanusiaan ke Gaza.
Menurut kelompok penyelenggara, konvoi sepanjang 48 kilometer ini akan memakan waktu tiga hari.
Para aktivis berencana untuk tinggal sebentar di Rafah dari tanggal 15-19 Juni 2025, namun hal ini bergantung pada otoritas Mesir.
Mereka juga akan berunding terkait pembukaan terminal Rafah bersama LSM, diplomat, hingga lembaga kemanusiaan.
Adapun konvoi ini merupakan bagian dari Pawai Global ke Gaza pada 15 Juni mendatang yang diikuti oleh aktivis dari 50 negara.
Mereka ingin penduduk Gaza kembali mendapat bantuan yang cukup setelah Israel melakukan blokade selama dua bulan.
