SCHNEECHAOS IN DEN ALPEN: Lawinen reißen Skifahrer in den Tod – Behörden rufen höchste Warnstufe aus

Heftige Schneefälle sorgen in den Alpen für extreme Lawinengefahr. Besonders in der beliebten Wintersportregion Arlberg und entlang der gesamten Alpenkette türmen sich die Schneemassen. Die Lawinenwarnstufe vier ist vielerorts ausgerufen, Experten warnen vor spontanen Abgängen. Drei Skifahrer kamen in Savoyen bereits ums Leben. Wintersportler werden dringend aufgefordert, nur auf präparierten Pisten zu bleiben und die Warnhinweise der Behörden strikt zu beachten. Das Schneetreiben macht auch Autofahrern zu schaffen – vielerorts ist das Freischaufeln tägliche Pflicht.
