Berlin war in den vergangenen Tagen kurz das Zentrum der Verhandlungen für einen Frieden in der Ukraine. Ex-Nato-General Erhard Bühler sieht darin einen diplomatischen Erfolg für die Bundesregierung. In einer Erklärung der europäischen Regierungschefs steht unter anderem, dass die ukrainische Armee nach einem Frieden eine Stärke von 800.000 Soldaten haben könnte. Außerdem soll es eine internationale Friedenstruppe und Sicherheitsgarantien für die Ukraine geben. Im Podcast analysieren wir das Papier, in dem es laut Bühler einige Leerstellen gibt. Und: Bisher gibt es keine Anzeichen, dass Russland echtes Interesse an einem Frieden hat.Die aktuelle militärische Lage: Die russische Armee intensiviert ihre Angriffe. Damit einher gehen weitere militärische Erfolge, aber auch höhere Verluste. Die Ukraine hält dagegen und hat ebenso einige Erfolge. Einen Coup hat nach Ansicht von Bühler der ukrainische Präsident Wolodymyr Selenskyj gelandet. Er besucht seine Soldaten am Stadtrand von Kupjansk. Russland hatte schon vor längerer Zeit verkündet, die Stadt sei erobert. Das Gegenteil scheint der Fall zu sein. Die Ukraine meldet, in der Stadt einiges an Gebiet zurückerobert zu haben. Wie nachhaltig das sei, müsse man sehen, so Bühler.
