Melihat dari Dekat Sampah yang Sebulan Mengapung di Sungai Citarum
BANDUNG, KOMPAS.TV- Tampak kondisi sungai Citarum di Desa Selacau, Batujajar, Kabupaten Bandung Barat yang penuh dengan sampah. Permukaan air sungai ditutup sampah plastik dan eceng gondok, diketahui sampah tersebut sudah menumpuk selama hampir 1 bulan lamanya.Diyakini sampah-sampah ini kiriman dari Kota Bandung , Cimahi, Kabupaten Bandung, dan Kabupaten Bandung Barat.
Pj Gubernur Jawa Barat Bey Machmudin mengatakan, penumpukan sampah terjadi karena sedimentasi, hal tersebut membuat aliran sungai tertahan.
Selain itu kata Bey Machmudin melanjutkan, perilaku masyarakat yang buang sampah ke Sungai Citarum membuat sungai jadi tercemar.
