Wer vergangenes Wochenende in Erfurt war, konnte live dabei zusehen, wie die politischen Ränder sich gegenseitig anheizen. Ganz rechts wie links hofft man auf die hässlichste Version des Gegners. Es wird auch künftig um eines gehen: den anderen zum Monster machen.Die kommenden Wochen könnten ungemütlich werden. Glaubt man den Aktivisten am linken Rand, hat schon bald das letzte Stündlein der Demokratie geschlagen. Kommt die AfD in der ersten Landesregierung an die Macht – und die Aussichten stehen bekanntlich nicht schlecht –, beginnt angeblich der Faschismus. Man vermutet, verdächtigt und unterstellt naturgemäß eben gleich das Allerschlimmste. Wer sich von all der Hysterie nicht verrückt machen lassen will, der „verharmlost“, schon klar.
