White People Are Identifying as Aboriginal 🦘 And It's WORKING 💥

Australia's Aboriginal population has exploded from 1.4% in 1986 to 3.2% in 2021, and SugarTits and I are here to investigate this mysterious phenomenon. Nothing to do with the grants, the perks, or the boxes on the forms, obviously. Purely people finding their roots. Like I did. I'm A QUARTER OF ONE PERCENT Aboriginal, so I'm allowed to make these jokes.

SugarTits and I take a look at Victoria's new Aboriginal Assembly and treaty — the thing the entire country voted down at the Voice referendum, which Victoria then went ahead and did anyway. We cover the Welcome to Country performed at Derryn Hinch's state funeral, despite Hinch himself publicly saying he thought they were overdone (his mate Ray Martin pointed this out during the eulogy, which is a hell of a moment).

We meet an Australia Post executive who counsels other workers through their Aboriginal imposter syndrome. And we get into Auntie Lisa, the comedian who got cancelled and fired for a bit about identifying as a black fella — and then raised five times her fundraiser goal.

Also covered: Isaac Butterfield being dragged in front of the Queensland human rights tribunal over jokes, and eventually winning.
