En continuación con los estudios bíblicos del Génesis abarcamos la muerte de Sara.algunos piensan que Sara estaba lejos de Abraham en el tiempo de su muerte. Según tradiciones judías también hallamos esta teoría. En este estudio abarcaremos ello. Fue la única mujer que la Biblia registra su tiempo de vida.Fue enterrada en la cueva de Macpela que Abraham compró a los hititas por justo precio, este lugar era antes una tierra que pertenecía a los gigantes Anaceos y que para aquel momento aún se encontraban vivos.
Fue Caleb quien luego de pedir su porción de tierra a Josué expulsó con sus guerreros a los hijos de Anac (Sesai, Ahimán y Talmai), raza de gigantes, de la tierra llamada en aquel momento Quiriat Arba (Ciudad de Arba), Arba fue el padre de Anac y uno de los más grandes de los gigantes.
La cueva de Macpela es actualmente un lugar de veneración para la religión judía y un sitio turístico abierto a todo el mundo. En ella se encuentran los restos de Abraham y Sara, Isaac y Rebeca, Jacob y Lea; y según la tradición judía también se hallán los restos de Adán y Eva.
