PLO | Hàng chục ngàn người đã chết, Hamas vẫn quyết đối đầu Israel đến cùng. Ngày 26/5, quân đội Israel cho biết ít nhất 8 quả rocket đã bắn vào miền Trung nước này từ phía thành phố Rafah ở phía Nam Dải Gaza. Lực lượng phòng không Israel đã đánh chặn một số rocket. Trước đó, quân đội Israel đã phát còi báo động khắp khu vực miền trung nước này, bao gồm thành phố Tel Aviv, cảnh báo đề phòng tên lửa phóng tới. Đây là lần đầu tiên trong vòng 4 tháng qua quân đội Israel phát còi báo động tại Tel Aviv. Hiện chưa có báo cáo về thương vong hoặc thiệt hại nào sau vụ việc.Ít nhất 35 người đã thiệt mạng sau khi Israel không kích vào thành phố Rafah, phía Nam Gaza, hôm 26/5. Trước đó vài giờ, Hamas phóng một loạt tên lửa vào Tel Aviv lần đầu tiên sau nhiều tháng. Quân đội Israel xác nhận về cuộc không kích nhằm vào Rafah và cho biết động thái này nhắm mục tiêu vào một cơ sở của Hamas, nơi có các thành viên cấp cao. Trong khi đó, người phát ngôn của Tổ chức Trăng lưỡi liềm Đỏ Palestine (PRCS) tuyên bố số người chết có thể sẽ tăng lên khi công tác tìm kiếm và cứu hộ vẫn tiếp tục ở khu Tal al-Sultan của Rafah, cách trung tâm thành phố khoảng 2km về phía Tây Bắc.
