Tra questi anche contatti con figure italiane — giornalisti, ex parlamentari, mondo dell'associazionismo — che, secondo gli inquirenti, non sarebbero state consapevoli del reale utilizzo del denaro raccolto da Mohammad Hannoun, presidente dell'Associazione dei Palestinesi in Italia e, per l'accusa, vertice della cellula italiana di Hamas.
